Installing the AMD RAID Driver For Windows
Raid Driver for Windows
This application software download free allows you to use your AMD RAID (SATA, NVMe) drive on your computer. The application is available for free and can be used on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Installing the driver is a simple process and can be done by downloading and installing the application from the Windows Driver Zone or from the website of your motherboard manufacturer. However, it is highly recommended that you uninstall any existing AMD chipset drivers using Windows Programs and Features before installing this software.
Updating the BIOS
If your system has an AMD processor and a motherboard with integrated RAID, you may need to update the BIOS before you can start or restart your computer. You can do this by locating the appropriate version of the BIOS on the manufacturer's website and clicking "Download".
The BIOS update should be installed before you install Windows 10. If you have any questions about the installation, contact your IT service provider for assistance.
Deleting a RAID array
You can delete a RAID array from the Disk Utility sidebar. However, it is important to understand that the data on any slice removed will be lost if it hasn't been resized.
Raid is typically used for identical sized drives for either striping (Raid 0) to make them faster, or for redundancy (raid 1, raid 5) for backing up. You can create a mirrored RAID array by connecting two disks together.
